This new-style Pella replacement roller will fit in Pella doors made after 1992-1996. This roller has flanges that helps keep the housing from moving up into the door. The roller is "pressed fit" into the door; it does not use screws to hold it in place. This roller will not fit into the old style (pre-1992) door due to the height of the housing. It will drag along the track if installed in the old style door. For pre-1992 doors, search for P-4998.
